OUR MISSION: TO MOBILIZE THE SUD-OUEST COMMUNITY
RESO's mission is as follows:
"To mobilize the Sud-Ouest community around development strategies and projects so that it takes an active part in creating its economic, social and cultural future in a context that is sustainable, equitable and built on the commitment and consultation of the population and social and economic partners."
Vision, Approach and Values
RESO has also defined a vision statement, an approach and values on which it founds its activities.
RESO is implicated in the Sud-Ouest borough, namely, the districts of Saint-Henri, Little Burgundy, Pointe-Saint-Charles, Saint-Paul-Émard and Griffintown.
To achieve its mission, RESO offers services:
Nearly Thirty Years of Economic and Social Development in the Sud-Ouest
RESO was born in late 1989, after the Programme économique of Pointe-Saint-Charles (PEP) in 1984, of the common commitment of the Sud-Ouest's main socioeconomic stakeholders. While today the Sud-Ouest is abuzz with renewal, 30 years ago, all talk was of the economic and social recovery of a district in decline.
