Snow Brigade

The snow brigade is back for the 2025-2026 season! This project offers young people in the Sud-Ouest borough the opportunity to help seniors and people with reduced mobility in their neighborhood by clearing snow from their driveways throughout the winter to make it easier for them to get around.

This intergenerational project allows participants to fulfill their civic duties while also gaining professional experience. Like a worker cooperative, each member is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the snow brigade. Weekly meetings are organized to provide volunteers with training and activities related to the snow removal project. Volunteers receive compensation for the time and skills they devote to the project.
